About the Role: Referral Application - YiYi English
As an online English teacher at YiYi English, you'll have the opportunity to work with a fixed schedule, teaching students who are committed to learning English. Our unique pairing model ensures that you build strong relationships with your students, understanding their strengths, weaknesses, learning styles, and interests to provide personalized lessons that drive success. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English online to students in China, following our established curriculum and teaching philosophy.
- Develop and deliver personalized lessons to students, taking into account their individual needs and learning styles.
- Build strong relationships with students, providing a supportive and engaging learning environment.
- Participate in our boot camp and onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition into your role.
- Collaborate with your dedicated associate to receive feedback, discuss student-related topics, and address any questions or concerns.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, adhering to our teaching standards and best practices.
- Commit to a fixed schedule for a minimum of 6 months, ensuring continuity and stability for your students.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following essential qualifications:
- Native or near-native English pronunciation.
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A bachelor's degree or higher.
- TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification (or equivalent).
- A high-speed internet connection and access to a HD camera and microphone.
- A commitment to responsibility and a passion for teaching.
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:
- Experience working in English as a Second Language (ESL/TESL).
- Previous online teaching experience.
