Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality instruction to students in the absence of the regular teacher, maintaining continuity and supporting student learning.
- Develop and implement lesson plans, adapting to the needs of students and the classroom environment.

- Build and maintain caring relationships with students, families, and colleagues, prioritizing equity and cultural responsiveness.

Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Be eligible for employment in the United States.
- Possess, or be willing to earn, a California teaching credential authorizing instruction in core curriculum.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or commit to weekly testing upon request.
Preferred Qualifications
We prefer candidates with:
- Experience working in a site-based substitute teacher role or as a classroom teacher.
- A proven track record of supporting diverse student populations and promoting equity in education.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum design, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
