The Percussion Teacher Role: Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, in-person percussion instruction to students of various ages and skill levels.
- Set your availability within our open hours, with a preference for consistent scheduling to support students and staff.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and preferences of each student.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages musical growth and exploration.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding lesson plans, progress, and any other relevant matters.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in percussion pedagogy.
Qualifications and Skills: What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications:
- A degree in Percussion Performance, Pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
- A strong background in music, with a focus on percussion.
- Experience working with young musicians or students of various ages.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Ability to pass a routine background check.
