Key Responsibilities
- Tutor identified students in a homebound setting, developing skills and strategies to facilitate proficient performance in essential standards.
- Facilitate instruction and conduct regular progress checks to monitor student understanding and adjust teaching approaches as needed.
- Establish and maintain a positive rapport with students, protecting their right to confidentiality and creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with school administration and staff to support students' individual needs and develop effective tutoring strategies.
- Prepare instructional aids and plans, leveraging knowledge of district goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff, both orally and in writing, to ensure seamless coordination and support.
- Manage the tutoring environment to promote a conducive and productive learning atmosphere.
