Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accounting Analyst to join our Corporate Accounting Group. As a Senior Financial Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting Hulu's financial operations, including financial reporting, intercompany accounting, and related party transactions. You will work closely with our accounting leadership team and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and provide analysis and insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance of general ledger accounts and the month-end close process, including preparation and review of journal entries for intercompany eliminations, intercompany allocations, and related party transactions
• Prepare and review reconciliations for key accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis, and perform variance analyses
• Monitor intercompany accounts, resolve any out-of-balance issues, and work with intercompany teams to ensure accurate and timely payments
• Track related party transactions throughout the fiscal year, and perform valuation analyses to ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Treasury, Legal, and other Controllership groups, to obtain necessary supporting documentation
• Work closely with the Supervisor, Financial Accounting - Corporate on ad-hoc projects and initiatives
• Assist in the preparation of Hulu's financial statements, including financial schedules and footnotes
• Research technical accounting issues, and prepare accounting memos to report changes in accounting treatment
• Support internal and external audits by responding to requests and attending status meetings

Essential Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial accounting principles
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive and collaborative attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SAP or other financial systems
• Entertainment or technology industry experience
• CPA license or other professional accounting certifications
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment

Education and Training

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
