Job Summary

We are looking for Food Retail Host/Hostess - Entry Level individuals who can provide exceptional service to our guests in our quick-service cafes. As a Food Retail Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for greeting and interacting with guests, taking orders, handling cash and payment transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Key Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable experience
• Take orders, operate the point-of-sale system, and process payment transactions accurately and efficiently
• Recommend additional items and promotions to guests, enhancing their dining experience
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and sanitation standards
• Work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and ensuring seamless service delivery
• Provide information and assistance to guests, responding to questions and resolving issues promptly
• Operate equipment, including cash registers and food preparation equipment, safely and efficiently

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
• Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling and payment transactions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations, procedures, and technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food service or retail environment, preferably in a Disney or similar setting
• Knowledge of Hawaiian culture and cuisine, with an appreciation for local ingredients and traditions
• Proficiency in a second language, such as Japanese or Hawaiian, is an asset
• Experience working in an outdoor environment, with exposure to various weather conditions
