Job Summary
As a Director of Omnichannel Analytics and Insights, you will lead a team of analytic professionals in developing actionable insights to optimize performance and drive incremental growth. You will partner with cross-functional business leaders to inform strategic decisions, design experiments, and manage market mix models to optimize online marketing tactics. Key Responsibilities
- Develop an Analytics Vision: Architect a roadmap to deliver on the analytics vision for brick-and-mortar and online retail channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Team Management: Manage and develop a high-performing team of analytic professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their growth and success.
- Actionable Insights: Provide actionable insights and recommendations using advanced analytics techniques on multiple data sources to guide decision-making for retail channels.
- Data Visualization: Develop interactive and visual dashboards to highlight trends and opportunities, ensuring effective communication of insights to stakeholders.
- Statistical Modeling: Guide the team in developing statistical and predictive models to gain market insights, and design experiments to optimize online marketing tactics.
- Partnerships: Partner with Analytics Center of Excellence (COE) on cross-functional analyses, data roadmap, and merging of behavioral and attitudinal insights.
- Data Management: Continuously assess opportunities for purchasing/acquiring new data sources and market insights, and manage relationships and contracts with existing data and insight vendors.
- Education and Communication: Educate and inform the OmniRetail Leadership Team and Delta Faucet Executive Team to drive more data-informed decisions, and identify important performance metrics to enhance omnichannel marketing campaigns.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
- Leadership Experience: 8+ years of leadership experience in an agile, cross-functional environment with product, marketing, sales, engineering, and analytics teams.
- Data Analysis: Strong knowledge of data analysis methodologies and tools, such as SQL, Python, PowerBI, or Tableau.
- Retail Industry: Knowledge of the retail industry with experience working with or for a major brand, manufacturer, or retailer.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively explain complicated information to individuals without technical backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree: Advanced degree in a related field.
- Industry Experience: Experience working in the plumbing or consumer goods industry.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with cloud-based data management and analytics tools.
