Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and administer medications, as well as maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the well-being and independence of clients.
- Perform tasks assigned by the Supervisor, including reporting on client assignments and progress.
- Maintain client confidentiality and follow universal precautions/proper infection control when providing client service.
- Follow emergency procedures in the event of any medical or non-medical situations and report any incidents immediately to the Supervisor.
- Record each activity performed on each case on a daily basis and submit Daily Activity Sheets accurately on a timely basis.
- Follow instructions, be punctual, and attend work as scheduled, adhering to agency policies and procedures.
- Attend in-service education annually per agency policy.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- PSS Certificate or CNA certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in the care of clients.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Comprehensive background check (including criminal check).
- Willingness to relocate to Lewiston, ME before starting work.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
- Previous experience working in home care or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits
