About the Role: Pharmacy Billing Representative

We're seeking an experienced Pharmacy Billing Representative to join our team in a remote/hybrid role, with a required commute to our Monroeville, PA office within 1 hour. As a Pharmacy Billing Representative, you'll play a critical role in ensuring compliant, timely, and accurate billing practices, working closely with various stakeholders, including pharmacy operations staff, prescriber offices, third-party payers, patients, and claim processors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Qualify, prepare, and submit claims to Copay Assistance programs, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve claims issues, verify insurance, and obtain authorizations.
• Manage and resolve claims through to resolution, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Support revenue cycle management, compliance, and documentation efforts, ensuring accurate billing and efficient revenue flow.
• Work within multiple operating systems and web-based programs to retrieve document images and collect supporting information.

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare reimbursement, medical insurance/billing, or a related field.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to live within a 1-hour commute of the Monroeville, PA office.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to prioritize daily tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare reimbursement systems.
• Experience with problem-solving and decision-making.
• Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) certification preferred.
