Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Operating Room professional to join our team on a 13-week travel assignment in Olive Branch, Mississippi. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operating room nursing, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting. As a traveling RN Operating Room professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team, and utilizing your skills and expertise to drive positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room setting, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to drive positive patient outcomes.
• Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
• Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and address patient safety concerns, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and improve patient safety.

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Mississippi or ability to obtain licensure within 30 days.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting, with a strong background in surgical nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with the ability to obtain additional certifications as required by the facility.
• National and state certification in Operating Room nursing, or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a travel nursing role, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities associated with travel nursing.
• Additional certifications in Operating Room nursing, such as CNOR or CRNA.
• Experience working in a large healthcare system, with a strong understanding of hospital operations and policies.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals.
