Key Responsibilities
As a Production Supervisor at Teasdale Latin Foods, you will be responsible for:
- Establishing daily, weekly, and monthly objectives and communicating them to employees to ensure alignment and focus.
- Managing the workflow by assigning responsibilities, preparing schedules, and monitoring productivity to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Guiding and coaching employees, providing feedback and support to help them develop their skills and achieve their full potential.
- Verifying production output according to specifications and quality standards to ensure that products meet customer requirements.
- Preparing reports on performance and progress and presenting them to senior managers to inform business decisions.
- Detecting issues in efficiency and suggesting improvements to optimize workflows and drive continuous improvement.
- Consulting new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Overseeing sanitation and chemical usage to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Completing incident and accident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a production supervisory role or similar position, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools, with a strong understanding of production processes and quality control.
- Good practical experience with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with a results-driven approach and a focus on achieving business objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, customers, and suppliers.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
