Job Summary
As a 2nd Shift Assembly Operator in our Helmets department, you will play a critical role in supporting our production efforts. You will be responsible for assembling products, handling materials and equipment, and working effectively in a team environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble products, handle materials and equipment, and work effectively in a team environment to support production efforts
- Operate Forming, Molding, and other manufacturing equipment to make composite parts in a production environment
- Perform other production support activities such as cutting and kitting materials, trimming formed and molded parts, and kitting and packaging finished parts
- Contribute to production effort by accomplishing all related tasks as needed under the direction of Production Supervisors and Managers
- Work under specific production volume objectives and goals to ensure efficient production processes
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required
- No previous experience required, but ability to learn quickly and acquire job skills is essential
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to pass background check, drug test, and additional vision, hearing, and respiratory tests
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes
- Experience with Forming, Molding, and other manufacturing equipment
