Optavise, a CNO Financial Group Company, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Account Management Associate to manage relationships for a large portfolio of small market clients. As a key member of our team, you will serve as the day-to-day contact for client decision-makers and primary broker contacts, advocating on their behalf and ensuring their success with Optavise solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor across client stakeholders and leadership, understanding their objectives and ensuring relevant delivery resources are aligned.
- Identify, initiate, and close new upsell/cross-sell opportunities to align with clients' objectives and drive revenue expansion.
- Facilitate communication initiatives to meet client engagement and utilization goals.
- Track client key objectives and ensure they are being met.
- Engage clients with reporting resources to provide data and ensure client engagement with Optavise value.
- Play a key role internally to confirm Product Development, Implementation, and Sales teams are kept apprised of any news or developments that warrant their involvement.
- Implement client retention strategies to minimize loss and address risks swiftly.
- Lead contract renewal negotiations (typically between $5k - $50k per contract).
- Maintain revenue base of existing business to meet Optavise goals (typically $100k - $500k).
Requirements and Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or 4 years of experience with employee benefits account management.
- 2 years of client services or account management experience in the employee benefits/HR domain.
- 1 year of experience managing multiple simultaneous projects or clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or 8 years of experience with employee benefits account management.
- 5+ years of client services/account management experience in the employee benefits/HR domain, with a strong preference for benefits technology experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing multiple simultaneous projects or clients.
- 1+ years of experience with revenue responsibility (sales or inside sales).

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the employee benefits industry.
- Ability to travel (occasional).
