Job Summary
As a Part-Time Online Shopper, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our Online Grocery guests receive the highest quality products in an organized and efficient manner. You'll be responsible for picking orders to guest satisfaction, returning to your primary duties as needed, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Pick products for online orders, ensuring that the freshest and highest quality products are selected, staged in the optimal temperature zones, and following guest notes, both written and verbal.
- Communication: Work with all departments to communicate expectations and relay order information to guests as needed.
- Quality Control: Offer suitable substitutions when items are out-of-stock, record the reason for the out-of-stock on the handheld device, and report pricing, item location, and incorrect temperature discrepancies to the appropriate parties.
- Customer Service: Assist with quickly retrieving orders from staging locations, process payment and coupons, and load groceries into guests' vehicles while informing them of any order modifications and offering a surprise and delight.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the Online Grocery area, including staging areas, in compliance with company procedures and policies.
- Time Management: Utilize time management skills to efficiently organize your schedule to handle numerous responsibilities and assigned tasks.
- Flexibility: Be flexible in daily activities, as you'll be tasked with Online Shopper duties as orders arise and primary position duties as needed.
- Additional Tasks: Potential additional tasks may be assigned, and you'll be expected to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
Essential Qualifications
- Liquor License: Successfully obtain a liquor license.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work with minimal supervision and make sound decisions based on the information provided.
- Microsoft Office: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a retail or grocery environment is highly desirable.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a positive and welcoming experience for our guests.
Skills and Competencies
- Attention to Detail: Ability to pay attention to detail and ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds several times throughout the day, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Technical Skills: Ability to navigate and troubleshoot the online website.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Weekly Pay & Premium Pay: Hourly associates are paid weekly, providing more frequent access to their funds. Part-time store associates are paid a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays.
