Penn State's Smeal College of Business is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Part-Time Graduate Career Coach. As a key member of our Graduate Career Services Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the career development and preparation of our graduate students, empowering them to succeed in the competitive business job market.

Key Responsibilities
- Career Advising & Counseling: Provide one-on-one career coaching to students on topics such as resume writing, interviewing, job search strategies, and career exploration. Assist students in developing personalized career plans and setting realistic goals.
- International Student Resourcing: Act as a resource and work with international students to develop a job placement strategy for US domestic work and global opportunities. Ensure they are aware of specific dates and deadlines.
- Programming: Help with events and information sessions, such as registration for events, depending on your location.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A master's degree in a relevant field, such as career services, higher education, or a related field.
- Experience in career services, higher education, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the career coaching and job market.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in career services and student success.
Preferred qualifications include experience in career/academic counseling/coaching, employer relations, and a strong understanding of the business job market.
