Job Overview
As a Part-time Remote Perinatal Psychotherapist at Workwarp, you'll play a critical role in providing high-quality mental health therapy to individuals and groups. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address a range of mental health concerns related to infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, pregnancy loss, and parenting.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on client assessments and progress, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in mental health counseling techniques and best practices, particularly related to perinatal mental health.
- Create and lead support groups, fostering a sense of community and connection among clients.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- A current license as a Mental Health Professional (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD) - fully licensed only.
- PMH-C certification is preferred, demonstrating your expertise in perinatal mental health.
- Experience in mental health counseling, particularly in perinatal mental health, with a deep understanding of the complex issues surrounding infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, pregnancy loss, and parenting.
- Familiarity with group therapy techniques and motivational interviewing strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations and create a safe, supportive environment for clients.
