Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all.
- Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have and resolving issues promptly.
- Process member purchases efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment types.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready checkout area, ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our members.
- Assist members with self-service technology, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Identify and respond to member needs, addressing concerns and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, upholding the highest standards of customer service and teamwork.
- Maintain safety and security protocols, reporting any concerns or incidents to management.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed as a Member Frontline Cashier, you'll need:
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact with members in a friendly and professional manner.
- Experience working in a retail environment, preferably with front-end equipment such as cash registers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve member issues and concerns effectively.
- Ability to stand for long periods and move around the checkout area as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Previous experience working with mobile retail applications and technology.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00, with the actual hourly rate equal to or exceeding the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in specific circumstances, ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour.
