About the Role
We're looking for a senior software engineer with a passion for building software that empowers developers to utilize the cloud more effectively, enables engineers to deploy code to production, and accelerates developer productivity. As a UI Software Engineer on our Conveyance Designing team, you'll be responsible for crafting an exceptional user experience for Spinnaker, our Continuous Delivery platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, Improve, and Enhance the UI Experience: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and refine the UI experience for Spinnaker, ensuring it meets the needs of our users and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product management, product designers, backend engineers, and UI designers to define and refine the client experience for our continuous delivery stage.
- Understand User Needs: Partner with stakeholders to comprehend their necessities and use cases for nonstop conveyance, ensuring Spinnaker meets their evolving needs.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong Programming Skills: Experience building web applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Both verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
- Passion for Client Experience: An eye for improving UIs and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-moving and dynamic climate.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and experience are highly valued:
- React.js Experience: Familiarity with React.js and its ecosystem.
- Cloud Computing Experience: Experience with AWS, GCP, or comparable distributed computing environments.
- Intuitive UI Design: A passion for designing intuitive UIs that simplify complex workflows.
