Position Overview: Surgical Tech - $1,878 per week

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Tech to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. As a Surgical Tech, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. This is a travel job opportunity, offering a competitive salary of $1,878 per week, with a 13-week assignment starting ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are available and in working order
• Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient environment
• Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, including patient information and surgical supplies used
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective care plans, promoting optimal patient outcomes
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies, applying this knowledge to improve surgical procedures and patient care

Essential Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech
• BLS and national and state certification and/or as required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts, 3 days a week
• Must live 60 miles away from the facility to qualify for travel rate

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare software
• Certification in surgical technology (CST) or equivalent
