About This Role
This is a part-time casual position with a night shift only schedule, offering you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. As a Data Center Associate, you will play a critical role in our team, working to ensure the smooth operation of our data center. Night shifts typically begin at 7pm but may begin as early as 6pm, and you must be willing to work past midnight Pacific Time. Availability during all nights (weeknights, weekend nights, and holiday nights) is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor theaters' normal reporting time and evaluate the need to contact or communicate with the day shift on issues that can be handled during the day.
- Keep track of received data and source documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prepare and sort source documents, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
- Identify and interpret data to be entered, using your analytical skills to make informed decisions.
- Research and locate theaters to be entered, utilizing your research skills to find the necessary information.
- Enter alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into computer following format displayed on screen and enters necessary codes, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Research pre-release data and contact originator to confirm, ensuring the accuracy of our data.
- Contact originators of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data, using your communication skills to build strong relationships.
- Make necessary corrections to information entered, ensuring the integrity of our data.
- Successfully perform on job function in the Data Center with minimal mistakes, demonstrating your attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Help peers as time permits, contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
- Make suggestions to improve the processes, using your creative thinking to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Train and perform three different job functions in the Data Center with minimal errors, demonstrating your versatility and adaptability.
- Take initiative to float from job function to job function to meet department needs, showing your willingness to adapt and support the team.
- Assist new Data Center Employees, providing guidance and support to help them succeed in their roles.
- Train new employees as required by Manager, contributing to the development and growth of our team.
Essential Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED, providing a foundation for your future success.
- 0-1 year of related experience and/or training, giving you a solid understanding of the principles and practices of data entry and research.
- Data entry experience, demonstrating your ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using internet search engines in a research capacity, showing your ability to find and analyze information effectively.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, providing you with the tools and skills to succeed in your role.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating your ability to work under pressure and manage your time effectively.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to write simple correspondence, using your communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Possesses solid oral and written communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with your colleagues and stakeholders.
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employee organizations, demonstrating your ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
