Job Summary: Math Instructor and Tutor
We're seeking an exceptional Math Instructor and Tutor to join our team in Norcross, GA. As a key member of our collaborative team, you'll play a vital role in creating an engaging and productive learning experience for students. This part-time role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values innovation, teamwork, and student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students using the Mathnasium Method®, terminology, and teaching practices.
- Participate in positive interactions with parents, establishing a high level of confidence and program value.
- Become proficient in digital educational materials and processes, leveraging technology to enhance student learning.
- Teach in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery, adapting to the needs of students and the evolving educational landscape.
- Assess student progress throughout instructional sessions, working collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience.
- Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework, providing constructive feedback that fosters growth and understanding.
- Support the maintenance of a clean and professional learning environment, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive space for students.
- Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team success.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
