Key Responsibilities

• Handle Travel Advisor phone calls, chats, questions, and requests, including adding and releasing inventory, modifications, and finalizations.
• Own cases and tasks, ensuring effective and efficient completion as a Point of Delivery (POD).
• Communicate with various teams, suppliers, and Travel Advisors to resolve issues and provide outstanding service.
• Monitor Room Lists, Final Countdown Letters, and assign the Queue as needed to ensure seamless operations.
• Strive to grow repeat business by building customer rapport and delivering exceptional service.
• Collaborate with service team members and team leaders to meet team expectations and suggest process improvements.
• Perform other duties and special projects as required or assigned by leadership.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To succeed as a Groups Service Specialist at ALG Vacations, you will need:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a travel or hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite tools, including Excel, Word, TEAMS, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using CRM tools to manage business and customer interactions.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
• Great technology skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 5% domestically or internationally.
