As a Front-End Software Engineer on our Core Product team, you'll play a critical role in developing the user-facing interfaces and back-end services that power our desktop experience. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to tackle complex technical and product challenges and drive the development of new features and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build new features and extend existing ones, driving the development of Grammarly's desktop experience.
- Design and implement front-end solutions for complex functionality, with a strong focus on user experience, performance, and security.
- Develop and maintain the technical excellence of the team and software by adopting best-in-class methodologies and engineering practices.
- Scale both technical infrastructure and processes as Grammarly continues to grow and evolve.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, with experience building complex web applications using frameworks like React.
- A growth mindset and a focus on delivering measurable business impact.
- The ability to rapidly adapt to new codebases, written in different languages and paradigms.

Preferred Qualifications
