Position Summary
We're seeking an experienced and charismatic Reservations/Sales Agent to join our team! As a key member of our sales team, you will engage with potential guests via phone, email, and chat, utilizing proven sales strategies to convert inquiries into bookings. Your goal will be to provide a memorable customer experience while achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall success of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Reservations: Handle incoming inquiries and convert them into confirmed reservations through phone, email, and chat. Respond to guest inquiries, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure seamless booking processes.
- Guest Assistance: Help guests select accommodations and services that match their preferences, upselling when appropriate. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Reservation Management: Process reservations, payments, cancellations, and re-bookings with accuracy. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of inventory, rates, and packages to effectively manage bookings.
- Revenue Maximization: Use sales techniques to upsell additional services and exceed revenue targets. Identify opportunities to promote our luxury offerings and create customized packages for guests.
- Customer Service Excellence: Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. Foster strong relationships with guests, responding to their needs and preferences.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Passion for Sales and Customer Service: A genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving sales growth.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sales or customer service role, preferably in the luxury hospitality industry.
- Technical Skills: Tech-savvy with experience using cloud-based systems and Google Suite. Ability to quickly adapt to new software and technologies.
- Availability: Availability to work weekends (Thursday-Monday). Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Sales, Problem-Solving, and Communication Skills: Strong sales, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with guests and drive conversions.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Luxury Hospitality Experience: Previous experience in the luxury hospitality industry is a plus, with a deep understanding of high-end guest expectations and experiences.
- Certifications and Training: Relevant certifications or training in sales, customer service, or hospitality management.
