We are looking for a reliable and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Jacksonville. - Managing all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to help the team's ability to fill patient solutions quickly, safely, and precisely.
- Providing caring support that surpasses client expectations.
- Assisting patients and clients with their medication needs and answering their questions.
- Working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure that all medication needs are met and that patients receive the best possible care.
- Participating in ongoing training and education to build clinical, technical, and safety knowledge and skills.
- Complying with all Government, State, and Local regulations and guidelines.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols, and following proper procedures for handling medications and equipment.
- Communicating effectively with patients, clients, and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of processes and procedures to enhance patient care and service delivery.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Meet licensure requirements, which vary by state.
- Have a strong ability to focus on tasks for extended periods without being distracted.
- Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, clients, and colleagues.
- Be able to lift up to 30 pounds, apply up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and use a moderate amount of force continually to move objects.
- Have a close visual acuity to perform tasks such as interpreting, seeing a workstation, reading, and visual examination.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are preferred but not required:
- Past experience in a pharmacy, retail, clinical, or customer service setting.
- Experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- PTCB Public Accreditation.
Training and Development
We offer a comprehensive training program for new Pharmacy Technicians, which includes:
- A broad CVS Pharmacy Technician Preparation Program.
- Completion of all enrollment, permitting, and accreditation requirements as per your State's Board of Pharmacy rules.
- Ongoing training and education to build clinical, technical, and safety knowledge and skills.
