About the Role
As a Cloud Support Engineer II - Big Data, you'll be at the forefront of cloud computing technology, acting as a 'Cloud Ambassador' across all cloud products. You'll work with customers to resolve complex technical issues, provide feedback to internal teams, and drive projects that improve support-related processes. Key Responsibilities
- Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services, applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to customers' individual needs.
- Leverage your extensive customer support experience to provide feedback to internal teams on how to improve services, driving tactical and strategic projects that enhance support-related processes and customer technical support experience.
- Create tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the developer community, sharing your knowledge and expertise with a global audience.
- Collaborate with customers through various channels, including web, live chat, and telephone, to resolve issues and provide support.
- Participate in a follow-the-sun model, working hours and days based on customer demand, which may include weekends (on a rotational basis).
Essential Qualifications
- Verbal and written fluency in French, with proficiency in English.
- Minimum three to five years' professional technical experience in Internet-related sectors, with a focus on problem-solving and debugging technical systems, including providing end-to-end troubleshooting support to customers.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent technical discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cloud/distributed computing technology, including large-scale server fleet management and/or Hadoop environment management.
- Proven experience in system administration (Linux/Window) and network administration.
- Experience in programming and/or managing complete application stacks, from the operating system to customized applications.
