Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Manager to lead our remote customer service team on overnight shifts. As a Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective customer service, resolving customer inquiries and issues, and managing a team of customer service representatives (if applicable). You will also be an expert on our bedding client's product line, including materials, features, benefits, and care instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and chat.
- Respond to all email and chat inquiries within 30 minutes.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues with empathy and professionalism.
- Assist with order processing, returns, and exchanges.
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude at all times.
- Product Expertise:
- Become a thorough expert on our bedding client's product line, including materials, features, benefits, and care instructions.
- Confidently answer product-related questions and provide recommendations to customers.
- Stay up-to-date on new product launches and promotions.
- Communication:
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customers in American English, both verbally and in writing.
- Maintain professional and friendly interactions at all times.
- Team Management (If applicable):
- Lead and motivate a team of customer service representatives.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback.
- Ensure the team adheres to the 30-minute response time for email and chat inquiries.
Essential Qualifications
- Prior Experience: Prior experience in customer service is required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in American English.
- Customer Focus: A genuine desire to help customers and provide exceptional service.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Product Knowledge: A quick learner with the ability to become an expert on our bedding client's products.
- Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple responsibilities.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, especially the 30-minute response time requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Experience in the bedding or home goods industry is a plus.
