Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Coordinator, Intake RN to BSN to serve as the primary contact for students entering our BSN program. As an educational liaison, enrollment coordinator, and advisor, you will be responsible for facilitating enrollment, providing information on scholarship opportunities, and assisting students in navigating the academic journey. This is a part-time position with multiple vacancies available, offering a competitive salary range of $26.05 - $32.56 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Intake Coordination: Serve as the primary intake coordinator and enrollment advisor for students entering the RN to BSN program, providing guidance on program requirements, admission processes, and academic policies.
- Student Advisement: Offer academic advisement, support, and guidance to students, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed in the program.
- Recruitment and Promotion: Actively promote the RN to BSN program to potential students, both within the Broward College system and externally, to attract high-quality candidates.
- Community Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, facilitating enrollment of their employees and providing information on scholarship opportunities.
- Data Management: Develop and maintain a database record of student interactions and interventions, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a liaison with College student affairs officers, faculty, and staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or a related field is required.
- Nursing Experience: Six years of responsible experience in academic/administrative aspects of student affairs or academic counseling, with an emphasis on higher education.
- Nursing Licensure: Current Registered Professional Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree: A Master's degree in Health Sciences, Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in Nursing Education: Experience in nursing education, particularly in an academic setting, is highly desirable.
