The Nevada Supreme Court is seeking a temporary contract Data Entry & Court Statistics Specialist to support statewide court data initiatives. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of court data used for statistical reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely data entry related to court cases, charges, dispositions, and related statistical fields
- Review and validate court data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established standards
- Assist with data cleanup efforts in preparation for data warehouse implementation and statewide reporting
- Identify missing, inconsistent, or incorrect data and flag issues for review or correction
- Follow documented procedures and data standards for court statistics and reporting
- Maintain data confidentiality and comply with court policies and security requirements
- Collaborate with project staff to track progress, document work completed, and meet project timelines
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work with repetitive tasks while maintaining consistency and quality
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Basic proficiency with Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to follow written procedures and apply standardized rules consistently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Additional coursework or training in data entry, records management, or administration is a plus
