Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO SME to serve as a subject matter expert for our clients in the area of SAP ERP Finance and Controlling (FICO) and its business processes. As a Senior SAP FICO SME, you will be responsible for solution design and configuration, continuous improvements, and ongoing operational support of business process solutions. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs, analyze issues, and develop innovative solutions to drive success.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP FICO Module Expertise: Provide in-depth knowledge of the SAP ERP FICO module, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Treasury.
- Solution Design and Configuration: Design and configure new business process solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
- Continuous Improvements: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance results and maximize potential.
- Operational Support: Provide ongoing operational support for business process solutions, including issue resolution and troubleshooting.
- Functional Specifications and Test Cases: Prepare functional specifications and test cases to ensure successful implementation and testing of solutions.
- Client Engagement: Support clients during UAT and month-end closing, ensuring smooth transition and adoption of new solutions.
- Business Analysis: Engage with business stakeholders to understand and analyze business issues, goals, and requirements.
- Documentation: Produce high-quality documentation, both technical and descriptive, to ensure knowledge sharing and process transparency.
- Process Improvement: Apply process/data analysis and improvement techniques to enhance results and maximize potential.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in SAP FICO, with 1-2 implementations and 1-3 years of support experience.
- Mandatory Skills: Finance and Controlling (BOTH) & S/4 HANA (Hands-On).
- Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, Fiori, and cloud-based solutions.
