Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for the Plane Health Management (AHM) program, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Serve as a change agent, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Production, Maintenance Control, Field Tech, Engineering, and Flight Operations, to identify new requirements and opportunities for AHM data.
- Develop and implement custom training programs for internal clients, enhancing their understanding of AHM capabilities and benefits.
- Analyze program results, reporting on overall effectiveness and recommending improvements to optimize fleet safety, reliability, and efficiency.
- Guide the program's expansion to a larger fleet and integration of new aircraft capabilities.
- Create and deliver educational content to promote awareness and understanding of the AHM program across the organization.
- Represent Southwest Airlines in industry forums, conferences, and meetings, staying current with regulatory and business developments.
- Travel up to 20-25% to attend industry events, meetings, and conferences.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, aviation, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft health management, maintenance, or a related field.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and change management skills, with experience in driving innovation and improvement.
- U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S.
