About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Network Engineer - Data Center to join our team in Dallas, USA. As a Network Engineer, you'll work collaboratively with various teams and leaders across the organization to design and maintain network equipment and software, document and manage the installation of new networks, ensure network integrity, troubleshoot network issues, and maintain/upgrade existing systems as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement new network architectures and improve the efficiency of current networks
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware
- Procure network hardware and manage subcontractors involved in network installation
- Design routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
- Recommend changes to improve network designs and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes
- Provide technical support to junior staff
- Offer technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems
- May perform other job duties as directed by supervisor
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Knowledge of hardware components, systems, software, and networking technologies
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with network architecture and design
- Knowledge of network protocols and standards
- Experience with network security and compliance
- Certifications in networking or a related field (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, etc.)
