Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Deploy Machine Learning Models: Build, train, and deploy machine learning models using technical expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, probability and choice theory, and other quantitative methods.
- Drive Business Insights: Understand the business context behind large datasets and develop meaningful analytic solutions that drive business growth and improvement.
- Apply Advanced Analytics: Apply analytical rigor and statistical techniques to analyze large amounts of data, using advanced statistical methods, including predictive statistical models, customer profiling, segmentation analysis, survey design, analysis, and data mining.
- Program and Develop Solutions: Program using tech stack Python, PySpark, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc., and develop solutions that meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with finance, researchers, software developers, and business leaders to define product requirements and provide analytical support.
- Communicate Insights and Recommendations: Communicate verbally and in writing to business clients and management teams with diverse levels of technical expertise, educating them about our systems, and sharing insights and recommendations.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data science, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in data science, machine learning, quantitative or computational fields.
- Advanced Degree: M.S. in STEM, computer science, statistics systems, physics, mathematics, statistics, data science, machine learning, or similar.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced experience in SQL, Python, PySpark, or other languages, and experience with machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Advanced degree talent in exploratory data analysis, feature engineering and selection, detecting patterns, learning distributions, visualizing results, and extracting insights.
- Cloud Computing: Experience with Cloud ML systems, distributed computing, data pipelines, cloud data stores, and serving engines.
- Communication and Collaboration: Experience effectively communicating technical solutions and advocating to analyze scientists, engineering teams, and business audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in STEM: Ph.D. in STEM, computer science, statistics systems, physics, mathematics, statistics, data science, machine learning, or similar.
- IoT and Edge AI: Experience working with IoT and Edge AI.
- Reinforcement Learning: Experience in Reinforcement Learning.
- Healthcare Experience: Experience in the healthcare industry.
