Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated #3 Press Operator to join our Core Publishing Solutions team at our state-of-the-art printing plant in Eagan, Minnesota. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in operating our cutting-edge offset and digital web presses, ensuring the highest quality products for our customers.
In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the press crew with setup and production activities, including preparing for upcoming jobs and staging materials
- Quality checking products, completing transactions, and bundling and tagging products for our customers
- Filling in for Lead and Mid-Level Operators as needed, including covering absences or breaks
- Monitoring equipment and product quality, maintaining a safe and clean work area, and documenting activities on Tier Boards and in relevant systems
- Using safety equipment to comply with state and federal regulations and reporting all safety and environmental hazards
About You:
- Possess a High School Diploma or higher, with a vocational/technical degree preferred
- Some experience working in an industrial setting with production machinery, with strong mechanical and technical skills
- Ability to regularly lift at least 5 lbs. above the shoulder, push, pull, and lift at least 10 lbs. occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and safe work practices, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
