We’re looking for an experienced Instructional Designer / eLearning & LMS Expert to conduct a complete audit of our existing online course and provide clear, actionable recommendations to improve learner experience, engagement, completion rates, and overall course quality.
This role is focused on reviewing what already exists, identifying gaps, and delivering a structured improvement plan we can implement.
Scope of Work (Course Audit)
1) Course Review & Analysis
Review the course structure (modules, lessons, flow, pacing, duration)
Evaluate clarity of learning objectives and alignment with lessons
Assess content quality, sequencing, and learner progression
Identify areas where learners may get confused, disengaged, or drop off
2) Instructional Design Audit
Check for strong learning design (intro → concept → practice → recap)
Evaluate the use of activities, exercises, assessments, and reinforcement
Recommend improvements using proven learning frameworks (simple, practical approach)
Suggest how to improve retention and application (real-world tasks, worksheets, prompts)
3) Video & Content Delivery Audit
Review course videos for engagement and clarity (pacing, delivery, structure)
Recommend improvements for scripting, visuals, examples, and transitions
Suggest edits or enhancements (shorter segments, chaptering, summaries, templates)
4) LMS & Learner Experience Audit
Review course navigation, layout, usability, and mobile friendliness
Evaluate student journey: onboarding → modules → completion
Recommend improvements for automation, reminders, progress tracking, and certificates (if applicable)
5) Deliverables (What You’ll Provide)
A detailed Course Audit Report (Google Doc/PDF) covering:
Strengths & weaknesses
Top priority fixes (quick wins)
Medium-term improvements
Optional “nice-to-have” upgrades
A simple Implementation Roadmap (step-by-step checklist)
Optional: suggested module outline restructure and lesson-by-lesson notes (if needed)
