About the position
The Manager of Strategic Planning will play a pivotal role in architecting and fortifying robust processes that elevate prioritization, forecasting, and decision-making within the strategic landscape of our Medicare Advantage business. The Manager will collaborate with a diverse array of key internal stakeholders to drive this transformation and help shape future Aledade Plus initiatives. We are flexible with geographic location-the ideal candidate can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or from our Bethesda, MD or Durham, NC offices.
Responsibilities
• Build and strengthen processes that improve prioritization, forecasting, and decision-making in Medicare Advantage in collaboration with Finance, Analytics, Actuarial, Product, and Operational teams
• Develop financial and other analyses to illuminate efficacy and efficiency of established and new Aledade Plus initiatives
• Lead buy/build/partner strategy and execution to fill identified capability gaps in our health plan operations
• Communicate outcomes and key decision points to operational leaders, cross-departmental stakeholders, and executives
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics, or related field
• 8+ years experience in finance, strategy, consulting, BizOps, or related function
• 4+ years experience in healthcare
• Strong quantitative and analytic modeling experience and skills
• Highly organized and proactive in raising questions around prioritization and potential blockers to drive assigned tasks forward
• Self-starter who is able to take initiative and ownership, with demonstrated success managing multiple projects
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated to produce work that meets high standards
• Collaborative team player with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
