About the Azure Client Experience (CXP) Team
The CXP team is part of the Azure engineering organization, and we consider exceptional customer care experience essential to the overall success of Azure. We create, define, and lead product offerings that put our customers in a position to succeed, empower them to solve problems, and ensure they have a remarkable experience if they need support. We enable 200+ product groups across Azure with applications, platforms, wise insights, and all the capabilities expected to empower consistent and unparalleled customer experiences across Azure services. Our team values diverse opinions and new, innovative ideas, and we take pride in understanding our customers' needs and using data and KPIs to guide, improve, and grow the success of our projects.
Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Product Manager in our team, you will have a significant impact on our products and customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating product/feature specifications with visual and written designs
- Collaborating with our engineering teams in all stages of development as an informed authority on feature design and customer experience that focuses on privacy compliance and excellence
- Providing hands-on program management during different stages of our projects, including daily commitments as part of agile development practices
- Measuring the outcome of the product through relevant metrics and KPIs
- Developing product roadmaps and strategy
- Listening to customers (internal and external) to understand their situations and challenges
- Engaging with partner teams across Azure and Microsoft to drive alignment on priorities
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree AND 5+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development, OR equivalent experience
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including Microsoft Cloud background check
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- A Bachelor's degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development, OR equivalent experience
- Experience using data to drive prioritization and measure progress
- Technical expertise with technologies such as cloud computing environments, role-based access control, agile development processes, secure coding principles, and more
- Experience with Github/Gitlab or Azure DevOps
- Experience with building services on Azure or other cloud services
- Experience with data analysis and related technologies, including Kusto (Azure Data Explorer), SQL, ETL technologies, Machine Learning (ML), and Power BI
