Key Responsibilities
- Conduct forecasting, ad-hoc modeling, and deep-dive analysis to inform business decisions
- Analyze agent performance, proactively identify areas that require further research, and own analyses from start to finish
- Build dashboards and visualizations to tell compelling stories with data
- Present and communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to Senior Leadership and stakeholders
- Build, maintain, audit, and continuously optimize reports and documents used to support various programs
- Manage programs essential to business operation effectively under strict timelines
Measurement and Analytics
- Leverage multiple reporting structures and databases (Tableau, Snowflake, Hadoop, Dataiku, Excel, etc.) for behavioral analysis and build/maintain reports
- Supervise data quality and report accuracy
- Collaborate with teams, leaders, and business partners to answer complex business questions with sound quantitative analysis and reproducible results
- Apply modern analytic techniques to test hypotheses and extract actionable insights
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data science trends and share expertise and best practices with team members
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and a passion for data-driven decision making. The following qualifications are required:
- 2+ years of quantitative, non-internship experience in forecasting and analytics
- Experience with time series forecasting techniques and modeling using machine learning or deep learning techniques
- Proficient in Python
- Proactive interest to understand the "why" behind performance, decisions, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks and complete projects on time
- Effective verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Desire to excel in a fast-paced and ambiguous business environment
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:
- Solid expertise in statistical inference and applying statistical rigor to analyses
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent SQL skills
- Graduate degree and/or 4+ years of proven experience in analytics or data science
Education
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required for this role.
