We're seeking an experienced Manager - Control Management Reporting & Analytics to join our U.S. Consumer Services team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in establishing and maintaining operational risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with enterprise programs, and driving business success. About the Role
As a Manager - Control Management Reporting & Analytics, you'll be responsible for leading the development and implementation of operational risk management strategies, policies, and procedures across our U.S. Consumer Services business unit. You'll work closely with multiple stakeholders, including business leaders, risk managers, and internal audit teams, to ensure effective risk management and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the execution of operational risk management plans, including the development of BU-specific guidelines, project plans, and risk assessments.
- Track and monitor issues with Key Risk Indicator (KRI) limits and risk appetite to ensure operational risks are managed within agreed thresholds.
- Manage the development of operational risk frameworks, procedures, and standards to enable effective risk management and decision-making.
- Support the internal and external exam management process, working with Enterprise functions to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Aggregate reporting, approvals, and exceptions for the BU, and support "change-the-function" activities.
- Lead the implementation of key training initiatives that align with Operational Risk Management.
- Manage processes to ensure and monitor the integration of regulatory changes and updates into the Operational Risk framework and training materials.
- Support sharing insights, best practices, themes, and other relevant information across the enterprise.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Essential Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in operational risk management, preferably within a Risk and/or Internal Audit function.
- Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in process governance, with an understanding of processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
- Experience in at least one of the following areas: translating operational risk strategy and programs into performance trends and themes, developing compelling reporting materials and insights regarding risk management performance, tracking and identifying issues with KRI limits and risk appetite, performing or supporting an audit or review of operational processes, risks, and controls.
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, including extensive formula and pivot table creation.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
