We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Geographic Information Systems Analyst.

Job Summary

The Junior Geographic Information Systems Analyst will create geographic data for assigned areas, design computer-generated maps and reports, and provide administrative support to regional Deal Makers.

Key Responsibilities and Obligations

• Design computer-generated maps, reports, tables, and charts for the needs of assigned districts using MapInfo as specified by regional Deal Makers.
• Process requests and inquiries directly from Costco Activities for market strategy guides and presentation materials.
• Perform a variety of project-specific tasks, including research and analysis of data as assigned.
• Provide administrative support to regional Deal Makers by preparing accurate and timely cost reports, editing documents, booking travel, preparing visit books, and meeting other administrative needs as specified.
• Perform general office duties, including answering incoming calls, receiving office visitors, mail handling and organization, ensuring all office equipment, ensuring computers are working accurately, recording, booking deliveries, and requesting office supplies.

Required Skills and Competencies

• General knowledge of geographic information systems.
• Knowledge of data analysis and data visualization.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in MapInfo.

Education and Experience

A bachelor's degree in GIS or two years of relevant work experience in geographic information systems is required.
