Job Summary:
As an Insurance Agent with LIC, you will be responsible for selling LIC insurance products to potential customers and building long-term relationships with existing clients. This is a commission-based role with no targets or work pressure, allowing you to work at your own pace and take ownership of your career. Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and sell LIC insurance products to potential customers, including life insurance, health insurance, and investment plans
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients, providing excellent customer service and support
- Follow up with customers to ensure policy renewals and gather feedback to improve services
- Meet and exceed sales targets, earning commissions and bonuses for outstanding performance
- Stay up-to-date with LIC products, services, and industry developments to provide informed advice to clients
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales and customer relationship goals
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or degree in any discipline (insurance industry experience is an advantage)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and self-motivation
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with insurance products and services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- LIC agent training or certification
- Experience in the insurance industry, particularly with LIC products
- Strong network and connections in the industry, with the ability to generate leads and referrals
- Proficiency in multiple languages, including English and local languages
- Experience with CRM software and other sales tools

LIC Insurance Products:
- Endowment Plans: cover life risks and provide savings/huge amounts of money
- Pension Plans: cover life risks and provide periodical payouts
- Investment Plans: such as ULIPs, providing Mutual Funds along with Life Cover
- Term Plans: cover life risks at a minimal premium
- Health Plans: cover hospital expenses along with life risks

Commission Structure:
- Twice every month, 1st and 16th
- For policies with terms of more than 15 years: 25%+10%(bonus) commission for all first-year premiums

- Term 5-9 years: 10%+4%(bonus) for 1st-year premium
