About the Role
As a Full Stack Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer at Apple, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of the AirPods product line. You will work closely with multi-functional teams to drive product quality, utilizing your skills to qualify features on Apple products that customers love to use. Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute tests to validate Bluetooth headsets and their underlying technologies
- Verify key features of multiple products and software updates
- Develop and run tests to ensure an exceptional client experience with Apple products
- Create test plans and participate in the implementation of testing strategies and methodologies
- Identify, replicate, and isolate bugs in automated, structured, and open styles of testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and test new features, regression testing, and drive issue resolution
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), Computer Science (CS), or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a related field
- Experience with hardware and software development lifecycles
- Strong background in testing embedded consumer gadgets or mobile phones
- Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills
- Ability to work with multi-functional and remote teams to achieve test goals collectively
- Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in EE, CE, CS, or related field
- Experience with Bluetooth technologies and audio testing
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks
