About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join our team remotely. As a Full-Stack Engineer at Workwarp, you'll be responsible for delivering scalable systems and applications that meet the needs of our growing client base. You'll work closely with our team to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software using the latest technologies, including TypeScript, AWS Serverless, React, and GraphQL.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using TypeScript, React, and AWS Serverless technologies
- Write high-quality, maintainable code following best practices for accessibility, performance optimization, and instrumentation
- Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize project requirements and technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our overall codebase
- Work with relational and non-relational databases, including Postgres and DynamoDB
- Develop and maintain APIs using GraphQL and other technologies
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience delivering systems and applications
- Solid foundation in writing scalable code following best practices
- Solid knowledge of algorithms and design patterns
- Strong experience with relational and non-relational database design, implementation, and analytics
- 3+ years of React experience
- 3+ years of experience in mid-tier development using AWS Lambda, Node, RoR, or similar technologies
- A desire to work in a startup environment where things change quickly
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and experience are a plus:
- Experience with machine learning, NLP, and neural networks
- Familiarity with AWS Serverless technologies, including Lambda, Event Bridge, and DynamoDB
- Knowledge of the SST framework and Next.js
- Experience with Cypress automated testing
