Key Responsibilities
As an In-Home Euthanasia Veterinarian with HomeHeart Vets, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing peaceful and dignified in-home euthanasia services to pets
- Supporting families with sensitivity and compassion during a difficult time
- Exercising sound judgment and working independently
- Traveling locally to visit clients in their homes
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with clients and our team
Essential Qualifications
To join our team, you'll need:
- A valid NJ veterinary license (NY license ideal)
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting families and their pets
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience in euthanasia or end-of-life care
- A strong understanding of the emotional and psychological needs of pet owners during this challenging time
