Primary Functions and Responsibilities
As a Freight Broker Agent at Workwarp, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities with prospective customers through inside sales activities. Your focus will be on domestic local, regional, or over-the-road (OTR) trucking, and you'll be expected to leverage your industry expertise to drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business revenue through solicitation and relationship development with potential customers.
- Document all sales activity in our internal CRM tool to track the new business pipeline and measure sales closure results.
- Cover freight and negotiate with carriers as needed to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Prospect new customers through various channels, including phone, email, and other platforms.
- Participate in face-to-face meetings and/or Zoom calls for discovery, presenting proposals, offering solutions, and closing business deals.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
