Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Educational Aid to support our students in achieving academic success. As an Educational Aid, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers with instructional activities, preparing educational materials, and providing individualized support to students. Key Responsibilities
- Distribute and collect testing materials as needed by students, ensuring that all necessary resources are available to support academic success.
- Grade and provide testing results using identified scoring techniques, maintaining accurate and detailed records of student progress.
- Monitor students during various phases of the school day, including classroom instruction, recess, and lunch, to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications and requirements:
- U.S. citizenship is required, with proof of citizenship necessary for employment.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
- A two-year trial period may be required, with a background investigation and suitability/fitness determination necessary for appointment.
- This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation with Childcare Checks, as duties involve interaction with children and youth under the age of eighteen (18) years.
Essential Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of experience that prepared you to do the work in this job. General experience is defined as progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates the ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of an Educational Aide.
- Experience in an educational setting, working with students, teachers, and administrators to support academic success.
- Knowledge of instructional techniques and strategies, with the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Education above high school, with 2 years (60 semester hours) of education or a combination of education and general experience that meets the requirements of the position.
- Experience working with students with diverse needs, including special education and English language learners.
- Knowledge of educational technology, with the ability to integrate technology into instructional activities.
