**Job Description**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in supporting the not-for-profit organization's scholarship program. You will be responsible for responding to incoming calls from families and schools, addressing their inquiries, and providing timely and accurate information about scholarship applications and funding status. Your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills will enable you to deliver an outstanding customer experience, ensuring that callers are satisfied and students are registered.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Respond to incoming calls from families and schools related to scholarship inquiries, applications, and funding status
* Provide accurate and timely information to callers, addressing their concerns and resolving issues efficiently
* Maintain a high level of empathy, personability, and compassion when dealing with sometimes difficult or tense situations
* Utilize strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and escalate concerns to supervisors when necessary
* Collaborate with the not-for-profit organization's team to ensure seamless communication and support
* Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, first-call resolution, and customer satisfaction
**Essential Qualifications:**
* At least one year of customer service or call center experience
* English proficiency (a language assessment will be required)
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
* Ability to remain empathetic, personable, and compassionate during challenging situations
* Self-motivation, detail-orientation, and ability to multitask
* Accurate typing and keyboard skills; comfort with PC/internet navigation
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working in a not-for-profit or educational setting
