Join Our Team as a Customer Service Representative
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the primary interface for our members, handling incoming phone calls and providing expert guidance and support. You will inform, educate, and advocate for our members, building trust and serving as the voice of the customer. Key Responsibilities
- Interface with customers via telephone, written correspondence, fax, web, and/or electronic mail to provide exceptional support and resolve issues efficiently
- Research customer information utilizing appropriate systems, policies, regulations, procedures, and other reference materials to effectively respond to and resolve customer issues
- Elevate sensitive customer requests when necessary, ensuring that our members receive the support they need
- Comply with State and Federal regulations and mandates, staying current on policies and procedures to ensure compliance and support our members
- Accountable for remaining current on knowledge of diverse products and proactively recommending items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and three years of experience in a complaint-type customer service office setting (health insurance or related field preferred)
- Availability for 9-12 weeks of training, which will be conducted virtually and requires a reliable internet service provider and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace
Preferred Qualifications
The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:
- Basic medical/dental terminology and contract interpretation skills, which will enable you to provide expert support and guidance to our members
