Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- A valid Alaska initial, professional, or master teaching certificate OR a valid Alaska Type M Limited certificate
- Evidence of content knowledge shown by a posted degree in the content area of this position; or a posted minor in the content area of this position; or passing Praxis Subject Assessments scores (formerly Praxis II) in the content area of this position; or a certificate endorsement in the content area of this position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff members
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
