Job Overview
The District Lead Math Enrichment Tutor will be responsible for overseeing the Math Enrichment program, ensuring that all program components are implemented effectively at identified schools. As a District Lead Math Enrichment Tutor, you will work collaboratively with school-based lead tutors, teachers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality math instruction, provide coaching and support, and foster a culture of academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate schedules of math enrichment tutors and ensure seamless program implementation at identified schools
- Serve as the primary point of contact for school-based tutors, providing guidance, support, and resources as needed
- Ensure that school-based programs have the necessary supplies and materials to deliver effective math instruction
- Provide instruction to students in small groups, both in-person and virtually, as needed, to support their math learning and development
- Lead school-based tutors through participation in Small Group Instruction Training Sessions, collaboration with Clinical Educators, and delivery of small group instruction using approved curriculum materials
- Maintain accurate records of student work, communicate with assigned teachers about student progress, and participate in virtual math support sessions as required
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Curriculum and Instruction Coordinator to support the Math Enrichment program and district goals
Qualifications and Requirements

- A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- At least 2+ years of experience teaching math, with a proven track record of success in improving student learning outcomes
- Strong knowledge of math curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously

- Master's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Experience working in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in leading math enrichment programs or tutoring initiatives
